According to John McGee, HFC Director of Operations, “Application to the EDP was a natural progression to provide our top flight squads with the opportunity to play at the highest levels in the Region. It fits with our Vision to become one of the Top Regionally Competitive Premier Programs. We decided to start with our older age groups but expect to extend it to the full U11-18 age groups over the next two years. Our aim is to gain Core Club status”
About EDP - The EDP was started by a core group of "elite" clubs in Region 1. The mission is to provide a development-friendly arena of competition where coaches can operate in a collegial and mutually supportive environment to develop players who aspire to the highest levels of play - College, Pro and International. HFC will be joining some of the best clubs in the Region including SJ Elite Barons, FC Bucks, DE Rush, and Manhattan Ajax to name just a few.
