Congratulations to Gary Guldin, the 2011 recipient of the Rob Schaefer Memorial Scholarship. Gary is a four year varsity soccer player at Souderton Area High School and was a senior co-captain this past school year. In addition to being an Honor Roll student, Gary also served for several years as a volunteer with the Harleysville TOPSoccer program, serving as a peer buddy and mentor to physically and mentally challenged children who wish to participate in community soccer. Gary played his youth soccer at Harleysville Football Club.

Graduating in the spring of 2011, Gary is headed to Drexel University where he plans to major in Chemical Engineering. Congratulations Gary and best of luck in your future endeavors.

Sheanon Williams at RSMC Tournament

Harleysville Football Club is excited to announce that Philadlephia Union star Sheanon Williams will attend the Rob Schaefer Memorial Classic Tournament on Saturday, August 13th and Sunday August 14th. Sheanon, who is also on staff as a trainer for HFC, will be available to sign autographs from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. on both days at our Upper Salford Park location.

Important Registration Note

Registration will open Friday evening from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Upper Salford Park. If there are conflicts that prevent you from registering Friday, you must contact Tournament Director Bonni Direnzi.

We understand that most teams do not yet have their complete package of player passes or new roster back yet. If this is the case, please be sure to provide a birth certificate or last year’s player pass for each player as proof of age. We also need to keep a copy of your roster. If you do not yet have an updated roster, an excel print-out with the roster information will be accepted. Most important is that each player is required to show a completed medical release form.

Also at registration – all teams will receive (3) MVP medals to be awarded after each game to the player you consider the MVP from the opposing team. Each age group or bracket will receive Championship and Finalist awards, after games are completed on Sunday. Please note: We are a "patch exchanging" tournament!!
