The Harleysville Soccer Association invites you to compete
in the fifth annual Rob
Schaefer Memorial Classic on
August 9th & 10th. This tournament has been established in the memory
of one of our club’s most beloved coaches and volunteers, and a true
fan of the game. We will provide a fun filled, highly competitive weekend
of soccer for boys and girls U-09 through U-16 teams.
As in years past, teams have participated from the Mid-Atlantic
area ranging from New York to Virginia. The tournament remains a great
pre-season event that allows kids to compete against many different
teams and helps prepare them for the upcoming 2008 season.
Travel
teams of all levels are invited to this EPYSA sanctioned tournament.
All games ages U11 and up, will be refereed by a three-man system. Awards
will be given to the first and second place teams of each age group.
A copy of the tournament rules will be provided in acceptance packets
and will be posted on our website.
All of the fields are located in picturesque Harleysville,
PA, which is just 4 miles from the Lansdale exit of the Northeast Extension
of the Pennsylvania Turnpike. Harleysville is conveniently located just
2 hours from New York and Baltimore.
New this year, all teams will be able to register and
pay online.

Project and Community project to collect retired soccer jerseys and
shorts for donation to refugee camps in Africa. Destinattions include
Rwanda, Kenya and/or Uganda. Bring your donations to collection booths
