How much time is involved?
- Practices are run throughout the summer, usually two times per week.
- Teams will often enter one or two tournaments between late summer and early fall. IE:
- Rob Schaeffer tournament in Harleysville in mid August.
- Local tournament in the Collegeville/Limerick area in mid September.
- The fall outdoor season is from September through November.
- All games are played on Saturdays and sometime Sundays
o During the winter months (January–March), teams have the option to play indoors.
o Practice is held indoors, usually once per week
o Teams enter a few tournaments, which are generally 3-5 short games on a Saturday.
Where do we travel?
- There are approx 10-14 regular season games.
- Half of the games are played at home & half away.
- Most of the away games are within 30-90 minutes of Harleysville.
- Tournaments are mostly within a one-hour drive.
- The decision of how many tournaments and which tournaments to enter, are up to each individual team.
How else is it different?
- The club has made a significant investment in its travel program over the last couple of years.
- A primary objective is to provide the highest possible level of instruction for players and coaches.
- Last season, the club brought in talented and enthusiastic instructors to work with all travel teams and coaches.
- The instructors have developed training curriculums and programs for coaches to implement.
- The instructors occasionally run practices and attended games.
How do I join?
- There are 3-4 tryouts held in late April and early May every year, usually at the Harleysville Community Center.
- It is recommended that all players attend as many as possible to improve the chances of making a team.
- Players will be selected and notified by the end of May.
- Once Selected, each player should register for their team and pay appropriate registration fees.
How much does Travel Soccer cost?
- Travel Player Registration Fee
All ages -$160.00 per player *
Uniform (Approximately every two years) $85.00
Tournament Fees (varies based on choices made by the team) $100 -$150/team, divided equally amongst the team.

* Please note that these fees are used for league registration, insurance, team equipment, referee fees, patches, field maintenance, and club-sponsored player instruction.
