To help ensure the success of this year’s TOPSoccer program, we are looking for dedicated PEER BUDDIES to help out at the games. By volunteering a few hours of your time, you can make a real difference to each and every TOPSoccer player on the field. The hours you can contribute will be well spent, and utterly appreciated.
Please consider joining in this fun and meaningful experience.
WHEN DO THE KIDS PLAY?
The season runs from July to September. A combined practice session followed by game play is held once a week on Friday evenings at the Indian Valley Middle School (IVMS) soccer fields and/or the Indian Valley YMCA on Maple Avenue in Harleysville. Sessions run from 6:00 - 7:15 p.m.
WHO CAN PARTICIPATE AS A PEER BUDDY?
Any responsible teenager or adult from our community is welcome to serve as a peer buddy. No special training is required. You will be on the field with the kids, and we’ll give you a special T-shirt to wear that will help identify you as a Peer Buddy for the game. If you enjoy the game of soccer and helping kids of all abilities, please consider giving it a try!
HOW TO SIGN UP
To volunteer as a buddy, please contact Keith Cameron at Keith.Cameron@radian.biz.
FURTHER INFORMATION
TOPSoccer is a national program administered locally through the EPYSA (Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer Association). If you have any questions, please send email to info@HarleysvilleSoccer.org.
