Rob Schaefer Memorial Classic

The Harleysville Soccer Association is proud to announce the fourth annual Rob Schaefer Memorial Classic. This tournament has been established in the memory of one of our club’s most beloved coaches and volunteers, and a true fan of the game. We will provide a fun filled, highly competitive weekend of soccer for boys and girls U-09 through U-15 teams.  Teams have been invited from the Mid-Atlantic area ranging from New York to Virginia. The tournament is designed to give participants a great opportunity to compete against many different teams and prepare themselves for the upcoming season.

The tournament format is based on eight-team divisions. The tournament will provide all teams with three mini games in a qualifying round and three full-length games in a championship round. Travel teams of all levels are invited to the tournament, which is EPYSA sanctioned. All U11- U15 games will be refereed with a three-man system. Awards will be given to the first and second place teams of each age group. A copy of the tournament rules will be provided in acceptance packets and will be posted on our website.

 

All of the fields are located in picturesque Harleysville, PA, which is just 4 miles from the Lansdale exit of the Northeast Extension of the Pennsylvania Turnpike. Harleysville is conveniently located just 2 hours from New York and Baltimore.

Entry Fee: U09 & U10 - $350.00 per team
